Volunteering Lancashire - Volunteer Statistics

Welcome to the Volunteering Lancashires database of volunteering activity.

Developed with support from The Lancashire Partnership, the database aims to create a reliable baseline for volunteering activity across Lancashire, against which, future trends can be measured. On the following pages are statistics based on data from both Volunteer Centres and from Volunteer Involving Organisations.

These give differnet views or perspectives on volunteer activity. Both sets of data are collected and displayed on a monthly basis so that trends over a period of time can be followed.

Volunteer Centre Data

The Volunteer Centre Data is based on volunteering data generated by volunteer centres across Lancashire and will bring together and aggregate data on:

• The total numbers of volunteers registered and referred to organisations by volunteer centres.
• The total number of volunteer opportunities made available through volunteer centres. Click Here

Volunteer-involving Organisations' Data

This data is based on information collected from volunteer-involving organisations across the county. There are figures showing:

• The total number of volunteers organisations have working with them.
• The total of hours volunteers have worked. Statistics on both of these are collected and displayed on a monthly basis. Click here
